The Old Gatehouse

The Old Gatehouse is a 5-bedroom house on 2 levels (250 m sq) perched at the top of Hawthorn Hill with extensive views at the back of the property. Set beside a private polo field, it has a very private sunny backyard and gated entrance and driveway. It is the Gatehouse to Cruchfield Manor, a Georgian manor formerly the home of the Cadbury family. Ascot and Windsor are less than a 10 min drive. 

 

Wool carpets and wood flooring throughout with good ceiling height, The colour palette is light and airy. It is fully furnished and with all appliances and an AGA in the kitchen. All beds and mattresses are new as per April 2022. Fast wi-fi is available throughout the house.

 

We offer rent of the whole house only for a period of time as per your needs.

 

The Old Gatehouse is an ideal place for a holiday with family or friends within easy reach of Windsor and Ascot racecourse, Guards polo club, and Windsor Great Park. The house is located just a 20-minute drive from Sunningdale and Wentworth, two of the country's finest golf courses.

 

You can benefit from the public footpaths and bridleways which start just outside the gate.  

 

The house is fully equipped and protected by a security alarm. The entrance gate is automatic.

 

The Old Gatehouse is only 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport and 60 minutes from Gatwick and close to the UK's motorway network.
